I am thrilled to have been awarded an Honorable Mention in the Alternative Processes category of the 11th Edition of the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards for Women Photographers.  And I'm doubly honored to be in such stellar company.

570 women photographers from 63 countries participated, submitting over 5700 images.  You can read more about it here, and see all the winners in each category.

Tri-color gum printing at Cullowhee Mountain Arts! Registration is now open.

I'll be teaching tri-color gum bichromate printing once again up at Cullowhee Mountain Arts, on the Western Carolina University campus, located in Cullowhee, in the beautiful cool North Carolina mountains.  The workshop runs June 24-29, and you can read all about it here. 

Come join me, and learn all about this beautiful, interpretive, and endlessly creative 19th century process!  No prior experience necessary.

Depth of Field Biennial

I was honored to be invited to participate in the Depth of Field Biennial, organized by Rfotofolio.org-- with exhibition at the beautiful Center for Photographic Art, located in Carmel, California.  A big thanks to Brian Taylor, Director of the Center, and to Rfotofolio!  Beautiful exhibition and wonderful events.  The exhibit is on through May 20, 2018.  A catalog is available, which you can purchase here.

L.A. PHOTO CURATOR: ALTERNATIVE TECHNIQUES IN IMAGE-MAKING

I am both honored and thrilled to be the Curator for L.A. Photo Curator, for the Call for Entry, 'Alternative Techniques in Image-Making.'  The deadline is February 17, and you can read all about it here.
