This week I dropped off two of my tri-color gum prints that were accepted into Rocky Mount's 57th National Multi-Media Juried Art Show, to be held at The Imperial Centre, at the Maria V. Howard Arts Center, in downtown Rocky Mount, NC. The exhibit runs from June 1 through September 19. The Opening Reception is June 1, from 2:00-4:00. I'll be there, so stop in if you're near Rocky Mount on June 1.
I'll post more about the show, complete with installation images, after the reception, but The Imperial Centre there is so spacious and beautiful, and the people who work there couldn't be nicer. I love Rocky Mount and so happy to have my work in their 57th annual show!
So after dropping off the work, I walked around town-- check out the BelAir Artisans, on Church Street, if you're ever in downtown Rocky Mount-- and took a few pictures with my cell-phone. Here's one of them.
